Bluukit Terms of Service
Customer terms • Version 1.1 • Effective 5 November 2026 Operator: Bluukit Tech Limited (RC 9977186) Registered address: 32 Ihuntayi Road, off Palace Road, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria Support and privacy requests: [email protected] Bluukit Tech Limited is a private company limited by shares, incorporated in Nigeria under the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020.
1 Acceptance and scope
These Terms explain the rules for using Bluukit to request artisan services and related materials. We provide them before account creation and booking. By actively accepting them, you agree to the version shown to you. The booking summary, approved quote and any clearly disclosed service-specific conditions form part of your booking. Your legal consumer rights take priority over inconsistent wording.
2 Who can use Bluukit
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Provide accurate contact and booking information, protect your login details and report suspected misuse. If booking for a household, office, estate or another person, you must have authority to arrange access and approve the work and charges. Do not share other people’s information without a proper basis.
3 Our role and professional checks
Bluukit operates the app, arranges matching, records quotations and coordinates payments and support. As a marketplace, the professional identified in your booking supplies the repair service. The supplier identified in a materials order supplies those goods. Their identities and roles will be shown before you commit.
A verification label describes only the checks explained in the app. It does not promise that every job will be faultless or that all professionals hold every licence. Work requiring a qualification, licence or permit must be assigned to a suitably authorised provider. Bluukit remains responsible for its own obligations; these Terms do not remove responsibility imposed by law.
4 Booking and arrival
Describe the problem, select the correct job address and disclose relevant access restrictions or hazards. Each booking keeps its own confirmed location. Changing a saved address or your homepage location does not change an existing booking.
Matching considers service type, location and availability. A request or payment by itself does not guarantee an appointment; the app must confirm the assignment or scheduled visit. Arrival estimates are estimates, affected by traffic, access and availability. If a professional is unavailable, you can retry or request a later time. Bluukit is not an emergency response service.
5 Inspection and travel charges
The inspection fee is ₦3,000, paid and verified before dispatch. It is separate from repair labour and materials. Any other mandatory charge must be shown before approval; no distance surcharge applies. Declining an expensive repair quote does not by itself cancel a properly supplied inspection charge. Statutory remedies for an unsupplied or defective service remain available.
6 Quotes and material prices
Before repair work starts, you receive a quote describing the work, labour charge and materials. Material lines must identify the item and relevant specification, quantity, unit price and total. Delivery charges, taxes and other mandatory charges must be disclosed before approval.
The artisan must explain the work and use the recorded standard labour price. An increase above 20% of the listed labour price requires Bluukit review before customer approval. A vendor sets its delivery fee for the specific order. The customer must approve collection charges, substitutions, extra quantities and additional work. Catalogue prices are not a lowest-price promise. Keep the quote, invoices, messages and receipt for review.
Bluukit service charge: each repair quote includes a Bluukit service charge of 5% of the labour and materials (minimum ₦500, maximum ₦5,000), shown as its own line before you approve and pay. It is not charged on delivery fees, the inspection fee or materials added later in the job. The service charge is refunded when the quote payment is refunded in full, including a verified late payment that is refunded, or when Bluukit's review of a case refunds all of the labour and closes the job.
7 Payments and confirmation
Payments are processed through Paystack or another appropriately licensed provider disclosed before use. Bluukit is a technology marketplace and does not independently provide regulated payment processing, payment aggregation, deposit-taking or electronic money issuance. An opened checkout or a screenshot is not proof of payment; the app verifies the provider transaction.
Checkout lasts 10 minutes. A vendor asked to provide a delivery fee also has 10 minutes; if the fee is not supplied, the pending request expires. An expired or cancelled checkout does not restart because a late payment arrives: a verified late payment is queued for refund. Payment confirmation, customer approval and the later release of earnings are separate records. No representation of a licensed escrow service is made.
8 Cancellations and refunds
The following cancellation rules apply, subject to mandatory consumer law. Use the app or contact [email protected]. Bluukit records the reason and any refund decision. A customer is not forced to accept wallet credit instead of a refund they are entitled to.
Cancellation before an artisan has been assigned: a verified inspection payment is queued for refund through its original payment source.
After assignment, the inspection charge normally remains payable because the professional has committed to travel to you. A no-show, unsupplied inspection or other contested charge goes to owner review. No term removes a statutory refund entitlement.
After a properly supplied inspection, the inspection fee normally remains payable when the customer declines an expensive repair quotation. Unapproved repair work, materials or added charges must not be collected.
An artisan cancellation, failure to attend, safety issue or service not supplied can be reported through the linked job for individual review. Evidence and responses from the affected parties are considered. There is no automatic fixed-percentage award to the artisan.
After repair funding or materials payment, a cancellation request holds the contested settlement for owner review. The decision records the labour, inspection and collection refund amounts and the payable balance. Paid materials must be received, cancelled, returned or otherwise settled before the job closes. A cancelled or resolved case does not erase an outstanding refund.
Approved refunds are queued through the original payment provider and tracked in the job. Provider acceptance, processing and completion are different statuses; no unverified refund or bank-arrival deadline is promised. Failed or uncertain submissions need reconciliation before any retry. A refund after an already completed payout may require recovery or adjustment of future earnings; it is not an automatic debit from a provider’s bank account.
9 Completion and problems with work
Inspect the work before confirming completion. Report incomplete work, damage, unauthorised charges or defective materials through the job’s support option, with relevant details or photographs. An arrival code confirms arrival only; it does not approve a quote, accept workmanship or waive a claim.
The artisan submits completed work for customer review. The customer can approve it or report a problem. If 24 hours pass from that submission, Bluukit may release completion only after its owner records an actual unanswered call to the customer, all paid materials have arrived, no dispute is open and no charge, amendment or materials request remains unresolved. An answered call does not authorise this silence-based release. This process does not limit complaints, warranties or statutory rights.
10 Safety and proper use
Provide reasonably safe access and tell the professional about known hazards relevant to the work. You and the professional must treat each other respectfully. Do not use Bluukit for fraud, illegal work, harassment, false reviews or unauthorised access to another person’s account. Do not share your arrival code before the identified professional reaches the property.
You keep ownership of photographs, descriptions and reviews you submit. You give Bluukit permission to use them as reasonably needed to arrange the job, provide support and maintain booking records. Publishing private job photographs for advertising requires separate permission. Reviews may be moderated for abuse, fraud or unlawful disclosure; a genuine negative review is not itself misuse.
11 Responsibility and complaints
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable responsibility for fraud, negligence, defective performance or misrepresentation. A platform description or verification label does not remove legal responsibility. Any remedy is assessed against the booking, evidence and applicable law; the customer is not required to indemnify Bluukit for its own wrongdoing.
Send complaints to [email protected] with the job or order reference, what happened and relevant evidence. The owner reviews each disputed job, records a reasoned decision and identifies any refund and payable portion. Customers, artisans and vendors can respond in the linked case. Internal review does not prevent a complaint to the FCCPC, a lawful court claim or another available remedy.
12 Account closure and changes
Account deletion requires a confirmation email sent to the verified account email, followed by an explicit confirmation action. The link expires after 24 hours. Active jobs, disputes, refunds, pending payouts and unsettled earnings or balance adjustments must be resolved first. Confirmed closure removes sign-in access and account-profile contact details; necessary transaction and case records remain for lawful purposes described in the Privacy Policy. Bluukit may suspend accounts for a material breach and provide a review route where lawful.
These Terms are governed by Nigerian law. Mandatory rights and the jurisdiction of competent courts are preserved. Material changes will be notified before they take effect, with fresh acceptance where needed. Changes will not retrospectively rewrite an accepted booking. The effective date and policy version will be shown in the app.
13 Materials changes, returns and tools
Before dispatch, amendments combine changes to items from the same vendor under that order, with any fee difference and customer approval recorded. Extra materials from another vendor require a separate request, customer review and payment. After dispatch, a delivery-address change needs customer approval before the vendor forwards the new destination. Vendors arrange their own transport and must keep the artisan informed.
For wrong, damaged or missing goods, select the affected items and quantities and describe the problem. Correct items may be kept. The owner reviews the claim; the vendor pays the return transport for wrong or damaged goods. Refund approval for those goods requires confirmation of their physical return, unless another lawful remedy is recorded. Missing goods do not require a physical return. A partial return refunds the approved affected items; a full order return also refunds its delivery charge. Unused, correctly supplied goods and warranties remain subject to applicable law and the disclosed order terms.
Artisans supply their normal tools. A separately approved tool bought with customer money belongs to the customer. Neither an artisan nor vendor may add a tool purchase without the customer’s approval.

Bluukit Artisan Terms
Version 1.0 • Effective 3 November 2026 Operator: Bluukit Tech Limited (RC 9977186), 32 Ihuntayi Road, off Palace Road, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria Contact [email protected] These Terms apply together with the Bluukit Privacy Policy.
1 Account, approval and accurate information
Only approved artisans may accept work. Keep your identity, contact, trades, service prices, hours, operating zones and references accurate. A sample assessment is not a professional licence. Accept work only where you have the competence and any qualification required by law. Signing in on a newer device replaces the previous active session.
2 Visits and quotes
The customer pays the ₦3,000 inspection fee before dispatch. Confirm arrival with the job’s six-digit code; it proves arrival only. Quote the recorded labour price and explain additional work. Labour increases above 20% require owner review before customer approval. Do not start paid repair work before the app verifies payment. Extra labour and collection charges require separate customer approval.
3 Commission and earnings
Bluukit deducts 20% from paid labour and inspection amounts awarded to the artisan. Approved collection charges are passed through. Earnings are released when the customer approves completion or when the guarded 24-hour process applies. An inspection award can be released after a qualifying cancellation. Available earnings are not the same as a completed bank transfer. A case refund changes the commission base and the recorded payable balance.
4 Materials and tools
Select the correct specifications and quantities. The same vendor’s order may be amended before dispatch; customer approval and any extra payment are required. Use a separate request for another vendor. Vendor delivery-fee requests and checkout each expire after 10 minutes. Check materials, but vendor earnings require the customer to confirm arrival at the job. All paid materials must be received or settled before completion. Supply your normal tools; customer-funded tools belong to the customer.
5 Delivery, returns and conduct
Collection needs the customer’s approval. Protect the materials while collecting and report losses or damage. Do not change a dispatched order’s destination without customer approval. Report only the affected return quantities, preserve the correct goods and cooperate with vendor-paid return transport for wrong or damaged goods. Do not falsify receipts, request personal-account payment, harass anyone or misuse private addresses, photos or messages.
6 Completion and disputes
Submit a truthful completion note and let the customer review. After 24 hours, completion may release only when the owner records an actual unanswered Bluukit call, all paid materials have arrived and no dispute or unresolved request remains. A report holds the contested funds. The owner reviews each case and decides the payable work and any labour, inspection or collection refund with a written reason. There is no automatic 40–50% entitlement. You can submit a response. Legal remedies remain available.
7 Payout account and recipient fees
Use your own bank account, check the resolved account name and expressly agree to recipient-paid transfer fees. The exact gross deduction, provider fee and net transfer are shown before each payout request. Fees follow the payment provider’s disclosed Nigerian fee bands and applicable stamp duty. A changed fee needs fresh disclosure. Uncertain transfers are verified by reference before any retry. An already-paid case adjustment may reduce future earnings; the app does not automatically debit your bank.
8 Responsibility, privacy and closure
You remain responsible for safe, competent work and your own lawful business, tax and licensing obligations; these Terms do not determine employment status or waive mandatory rights. Follow the shared Privacy Policy. Deletion requires verified-email confirmation and completed settlement. Necessary transaction and dispute records remain.
Bluukit Vendor Terms
Version 1.1 • Effective 5 November 2026 Operator: Bluukit Tech Limited (RC 9977186), 32 Ihuntayi Road, off Palace Road, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria Contact [email protected] These Terms apply together with the Bluukit Privacy Policy.
1 Registration and stores
Supply accurate business, CAC, contact and store information. Upload the required registration certificate and wait for approval. Each branch must maintain its own correct address and stock. Account-name checks and business registration checks have different purposes and do not establish that every product is suitable.
2 Catalogue, pricing and stock
Describe goods truthfully, including specification, quantity, unit price and condition. Keep stock and prices current, honour an approved paid order and do not make an unauthorised substitution. Vendor commission is 7% of material sales for orders placed from 5 November 2026 (5% for orders placed before then); the approved vendor delivery charge is passed through and is not included in the commission base.
3 Delivery fees and checkout
You set the delivery fee for the particular order and arrange transport appropriate to its size. Supply a requested fee within 10 minutes or the request expires. The customer then reviews the quote and has a 10-minute checkout after approval. A verified payment is required before an order progresses. Late payments on expired requests are refunded rather than silently reinstating the order.
4 Amendments and addresses
Before dispatch, amendments stay under the same vendor order, with the revised delivery fee, customer approval and any payment difference recorded. Dispatch pauses while an amendment is unresolved. The artisan may buy additional goods from a different vendor through a separate customer-approved request. After dispatch, the customer must approve any new destination before you forward the latest address to the deliverer.
5 Handover, receipt and earnings
Use the app’s collection-code verification for artisan pickup. An artisan’s check alone does not release vendor earnings. The customer must confirm arrival at the job address. Released earnings are net material sales after the commission plus the approved delivery charge, adjusted for approved refunds. A completed provider transfer is recorded separately from available earnings.
6 Partial returns and transport
For wrong, damaged or missing goods, the parties identify affected line items and quantities. Correct items may be kept. You pay return transport for wrong or damaged goods and record the arrangements in the linked case. The owner verifies the claim and return evidence before approving the affected-item refund; missing items require no physical return. A full order return also refunds its delivery charge. Do not automatically restock damaged or missing goods. Statutory return and warranty rights remain available.
7 Cases and prior payouts
Open cases hold the affected payout until review. Respond with the supplied items, delivery and return facts. The owner records the outcome and adjustments; no fixed artisan dispute percentage determines a vendor case. A refund approved after money has already been transferred can create a recovery or future-balance adjustment and cannot be described as a successful recall of that bank transfer.
8 Bank account, fees and closure
Verify the payout account name, confirm it is your account and accept recipient-paid transfer fees. Review the exact fee and bank amount before requesting each payout. No duplicate transfer is posted merely because a response was lost. Follow the shared Privacy Policy. Deletion requires email confirmation and settlement of orders, cases, refunds, earnings and payouts; required transaction records remain.
